Like our handscraped heart pine, our oily heart pine is salvaged from original floor material and ceiling decking. With years of cotton seed or machine oil ground into the wood, the color and character revealed in this stock is unrivaled. Long lengths to 16 feet are common with widths usually to 6 inches. This floor can be particularly difficult to finish. We recommend installation, sanding and finishing information, so please contact us for assistance.
